Concept:

Sacrifice is a very complex phenomenon, and its roots are varied. Some link its origin with the custom of feeding the dead (inferia). It is a propitiatory and expiatory sacrifice.

Sacrifice is an act of ritual lifting of taboos, of breaking taboos always and everywhere. Because the very process of breaking the taboo is a sacred act, comparable to getting new energy. Sometimes it is dangerous. Through death and sacrifice, existence lends itself to change.

The connection of the phenomenon of war with the concept of the sacred. The condemnation of war, denying its sacred character, in contrast to sacrifice as a mystical fight of the subject against his own subjectivity. The idea itself is taken from medieval Catholic mysticism.

These concepts are shaped by the philosophy of Georges Bataille and influenced the creation of this work.
