- Drozdova Mariia

Mariia Drozdova works in such techniques as painting, graphics, collage (analog, digital), photography, performance, computer graphics, icon painting. The artist paints her whole life (for she remembers herself).
After receiving an academic education, Mariia works both in the classical areas of art and creates projects in the field of modern art, and believes that versatility, creative experimentation and love for her creativity are important for the artist.
The artist tries not to limit the work with any specific techniques or trends, if possible she tries something new, but at the same time she prefers symbolic art. In her paintings Mariia Drozdova unites the emotional and analytical approach.

Mariia Drozdova is characterized by a sensible approach to the study of visual culture, various stylistic techniques, interest and a peculiar approach to the analysis of historical processes that directly or indirectly shaped the world artistic traditions.
The projects that Mariia created are characterized by the skillful use of lines, shapes, textures, colors, and rhythm. This skill allows her to create an amazing feeling of unity in artworks that combine seemingly incompatible images. Due to this, the viewer's eyes do not concentrate on individual elements, but perceive an artistic decision in painting, in the design of an architectural environment, photography, or collage, as one melody.
Also, the artist deliberately does not allow unambiguous interpretations of her artworks. Thus, it makes the viewer an active accomplice of the image, makes him speculate, discard habitual judgments and stereotypes of perception. Although the viewer tries to interpret, speak out of habit, but in the end he understands what he sees, reflects the inner world of his contemporaries. A visual row is just a means to extract it.
