The collage, depending on the lighting, looks different because it consists of shiny, glossy and mirrored elements that reflect light in different ways.

Concept:

The symbol of "fish" is interpreted with contradictory meanings, which fit into a single scheme, the core of which is the opposition "life - death" or, in a dynamic interpretation, "dying - birth. This work is about birth as an allegory of spiritual resurrection as opposed to earthly existence. Birth is described in images of fishing. Since water is the source of new life, the body of water is compared to the womb, then the fish is at the same time a symbol of the newborn and rebirth, fertility. The background around the boy carrying the caught fish is an abstraction. Which gives a duality of perception of space. On the one hand, the background resembles an endless expanse of water, but at the same time there is a sense of otherworldly, surrealistic space. It is a chamber, intimate and sacred work.
