Zhulinskyi Mykola
Mykola Zhulinskyi paintings make a person to meditate about the meaning of life, about good and evil, form a philosophical view of the world.
For example, the project "Dedication or travel to yourself with Sri Aurobindo" is an artist's attempt to combine the visual aspect of painting perception with an intellectual aspect of understanding the nature of human nature and its secrets.

At the heart of the style in which Mykola Zhulinskyi works is solid, strong realism. The characters of his paintings are stylistically reminiscent of the heroes of Soviet canvases, so they are built monumentally-weighty, realistically alive and convincing. Decorative qualities are given to them by color generalizations, bright color palette.
The artist likes to do certain color accents. For example, in the film "The Long Waited Guest", the main character is highlighted with a scarlet color, while the other characters are immersed in a blue-blue shadow. And in the painting "People-Angels" red color is an active background, denoting a wide field filled with the last rays of the sun. And on this flaming background with deep blue color are emphasized working people - old people and children with angel wings. In this way the artist creates paintings-allegories. Maximum expressiveness is achieved through color conciseness and graphic generalization. Another significant series of paintings "The Seventh Day" has more than 30 canvases, and is an artistic generalization of the absurdity of human nature, manifested in everyday life. Some of the works are also allegorical, so for greater expressiveness the author refers to the image of animals - pigs, sheep, pumas, toads, personifying certain features of the human psyche. The author also resorts to color contrasts, generalizations, placing emphasis on the characters.
It is interesting that Mykola Zhulinskyi is also the author of a whole collection of stories, where there is a lot of humor, fantasy and lyrics.
