Morgunova Alena
Alena Morgunova, a graphic artist, designer, enameller, quite early found the rapid rhythm of her own creative development and directed her revelations towards the most relevant visual guidelines. The artist independently came up with a number of themes and plastic forms of their embodiment that are significant for contemporary fine arts and for the artist herself: complex socio-cultural problems of the modern world; the natural essence and beauty of things that surround a person in his daily life; biomorphic and attributive metaphors of human existence
Paintings of the artist
(5)The main achievements of the modern artist are developed in the most complex and capricious graphic techniques - watercolors, pastels and (in addition to them) enamel plastic. The very choice of the mentioned mixed graphic painting techniques can testify in favor of the artist, because skillful mastery of them requires considerable experience, skill and patience. Her graphic works are characterized by a desire for the compositional integrity of the letter, refined plastic relationships of line and color spot, graphic sophistication and exquisite decoration, which create a feeling of quiet contemplation of the surrounding world.

While still a second-year student at the Faculty of Graphic Design, Alena Morgunova made herself known with posters and computer animation. An important fundamental aspect of her work in this area is that she prefers social posters and animation, in the creation of which (unlike commercial projects, which are inevitably subject to the preferences of the customer), Alena has complete freedom of creative expression.
Alena's work in the enamel technique deserves serious attention. Having learned the lessons of enamel art in the studio of the famous Ukrainian artist A. A. Borodai, and professionally mastering the technique, Alyona created several expressive, aesthetically sophisticated compositions. Her enamels are rich in textural and color effects, they combine the light relief of muted smalt with the viewing plane of the copper base and the transparency of glass (“Summer”, “Birds”, “Exotic Fish” (2004), series “Mysterious Life” (2008)).
The active creative work of Alena Morgunova, her work in various types of contemporary art was awarded a scholarship from the Presidential Fund (2005, 2019). Today the artist is a member of two creative unions: artists (since 2008) and designers (since 2009).
