About myself and my artworks

All Volodymyr Tytulenko's paintings unite incredible attention and love for the native land, a piece of warmth, brought by the artist, finding the innermost essence, value in every corner of Ukrainian nature. Especially memorable are unpretentious plots that seem to be seen on a walk - flowering motley grass on a summer meadow, its waves running toward the horizon, colored shadows that sliced obliquely through a forest path or fallen autumnal foliage on a water ripple.

Having good artistic training on the basis of the Soviet realistic school of writing, as well as extensive experience in the open-air, Volodymyr Tytulenko reached the heights of mastery in genres landscape and still life. In the creative baggage of the artist a huge number of sketches written from life. These are small canvases, usually in the size of 20 * 30, 30 * 40, where the chamber corners of nature are imprinted in different seasons of the year. The color palette, which is used by the artist, is as close to natural shades as there are many color gradations in it.

The artist very skillfully uses color accents on the canvas, for which he applies pasty texture strokes. So, alternating a smaller letter and expressive brushstrokes with a broad brush, various scratching in details, he achieves the maximum expressiveness of landscapes.

Still-lifes of Volodymyr Tytulenko are remembered by the colorfulness and generosity: this is an abundance of meadow flowers collected in large bouquets, bright yellow sunflowers, aster in a pot on a motley rural scarf, flaming marigolds with viburnum, pumpkins and apples are familiar from childhood, and in Volodymyr's still lifes these items are also filled with sunlight and sunshine.
