Peace and grandeur, passion and grace are invariably felt in the landscapes, female images and mythological scenes of the artist Vitalii Kolesnykov. His painting can be called a classic of our time, as if it came from another time, when academic drawing was valued above all else, and mythological subjects were the most relevant topic for research in art. Vitalii Kolesnykov finished an academic art school in the person of Soviet and Ukrainian artist, painter, teacher, professor of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture Tetiana Holembievska.
