Yuliia Tomesko-Mazmanian’s very skillfully painted still lifes are combined by the artist’s light translucent quivering manner with small active pasty strokes in the foreground and complemented by unpretentious decorativeness. Objects and flowers on them are so clean, but soft, and palpable colors that they want to be touched.

Soothing picture. An additional calm note is made by the muted green shades of the leaves and stems of the plants. Not the bright green color of the grass, not emerald green - no, just green, without black in the shadows, light and real.

Compositionally, still lifes seem to go beyond the image, they have little space on the canvas, because lush bouquets of peonies, sunflowers, spring, summer or autumn colors do not fit within the given frames, but tend to spill their life-affirming energy beyond the limits provided to them.

Living colors, which can be characterized not so much by a different spectral component, as by different categories: this still-life is light, and this one is sweet, this one is juicy, and that one is color-hot.

And for all the artworks a single definition is applicable - living creativity, cooperation with the deity who gives birth to life. And each painting is like a business card of this deity, whose products can be presented endlessly.

Yuliia Tomesko-Mazmanian works in a realistic manner of painting. A distinctive feature of her painting is passion for floral still lifes, although in her creative baggage there are landscapes and portraits. The painter creates vivid compositions with autumn flowers, varied summer variations of flowers and berries, and luxurious spring bouquets. Even in the names of the paintings there is a special trepidory attitude of the artist - Mint coolness, Gentle kiss of June, Vanilla morning, Autumn symphony.

The artist generously shares this sensual perception with the viewer. Summarizing, blurring the background, Yuliia paints flowers in detail, passing ephemeral materiality and trembling of petals. This is facilitated by both ease of writing, clear watercolor tones, and clean bright colors. In the writing of the background are visible broad generalizing strokes, of flowers and fruits - more accurate detailing. The color scheme is usually warm, saturated with the sun, it is felt in sun glares on the folds of draperies, but to a greater extent this sun energy is emitted by the flowers themselves, assembled in luxurious colorful bouquets.
