KyivGallery Art Critic Art critic's review 12/09/2018

The story told by the artist Oleksii Rubanov is not straightforward, but, like in any other, there are both dynamic developments and lyrical heroes, and a slight nostalgia for the past. United by the creative energy of the artist, the paintings, as it were, flow into one another, creating a unique decorative plot. A dynamic scattering of color strokes gently shifts into a harmonious holistic picture of olive, pink or bluish strokes, where nothing is superfluous, transient.

The artist with a confident hand leads us into the world of color and mysterious, slightly outlined, but very organic images. We want to trust him, as a skillful master who knows what he is doing and where he is going.
