The meaningful foundations of Ildan Iakhin's artworks are rather associative, metaphorical allusions to the author's life and professional experience. For an artist, the basic core of creativity is such a concept as GAME. The game with conceptual meanings that have a clear verbal interpretation, as well as a game with something that often does not have a direct translation into the verbal language, what actually consists of fine art, that is, the physical, material embodiment of the artist's idea (material, tools, paints, shape, composition, line, stain, texture, color, etc.).
Ildan Iakhin can be described as a "multi-disciplinary" artist, because on his creative path he managed to work as a poster artist (theatre poster), as an illustrator, and at the same time, in parallel, there was continuous work in the field of free art - drawing, pastel, etching, painting
