Gunchenko Svіtlana
Svitlana Gunchenko's paintings are performed in the best traditions of Ukrainian impressionism, and express painter's love to the landscape, to various states of nature, to such nuances as the first morning rays, the last glow of the setting sun, the melting fog of mist.
Paintings of the artist
(175)1989-1993 - Zhytomyr Children's Art School, director and teacher National Artist of Ukraine V.Shkurynskyi
1997 - T.Shevchenko State Art School
2001 - Winner of M. Dmytrenko competition, the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture
2003 - National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture
2006 - National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, assistance in the workshop of national artist of Ukraine, professor V.Hurin
Vasyl Hurin had been Svitlana Hunchenko's teacher for a long period in the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. She had drawn from him love to landscape, to subtleties of nature states, which artist masterfully delineates with confident strokes: more densely and boldly depicting the flow of water or the shaking of leaves and transparently watercolorizing the air element. The color scheme is built on refined color nuances.
This direction is especially bright in the cycle of landscapes dedicated to the artist's beloved city of Lviv and still lifes.
The feature of Svitlana Hunchenko's still lifes is the environment saturated with light, and in the shadows and half-shades of white draperies - playing mosaic of reflexes. I can not help remembering the paintings of the classic Ukrainian impressionism Oleksandr Murashko, who paid the same attention to the game of sunlight and colored reflexes on white surfaces.
And on the whole it is obvious that the impressionistic artistic techniques are the favorite element of the artist.
